Assists children and young people who can least afford or may otherwise benefit from joining a sport or recreation club.  Eligible children and young people are provided with a voucher of up to $150 to help pay for club membership and or participation fees.  The vouchers can be redeemed at a sport or recreation club registered with the program.

The Queensland Government established the Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) in 1994 to provide funding to community groups in Queensland. The GCBF receives money from gambling taxes. It distributes these funds to not-for-profit community groups on a quarterly basis (closing 28 February, 31 May, 31 August and 30 November).

The Queensland Government established the Jupiters Casino  Community Benefit Fund (JCCBF) in 1987 to provide funding to community groups in Queensland. The JCCBF receives money from gambling taxes. It distributes these funds to not-for-profit community groups on a quarterly basis (closing 28 February, 31 May, 31 August and 30 November).

 

Reef Hotel Casino Community Benefit Fund (RHCCBF) http://www.olgr.qld.gov.au/grants/programs/reef/index.shtml

The Queensland Government established the Reef Hotel Casino Community Benefit Fund (RHCCBF) in 1996 to provide funding to community groups in Far North Queensland. The RHCCBF receives money from gambling taxes. It distributes these funds to not-for-profit community groups on a bi-annual basis (closing 28 February and 31 August).

The Queensland Government established the Breakwater Island Casino Community Benefit Fund (BICCBF) in 1988 to provide funding to community groups in North Queensland. The BICCBF receives money from gambling taxes. It distributes these funds to not-for-profit community groups on a bi-annual basis (closing 31 May and 30 November).
